Summary
"Dear Jack" is a story told through the eyes of Holly, a young girl with special needs. Holly wants to tell her older brother Jack how sorry she is that their mom couldn't be there for him at certain events, like at his hockey games because the ice rink was just too cold or she needed to be home for a nap. However, she also wants to tell him how much she loved watching him play his video games or listen to him go on and on about his favorite sports teams. But most of all, she wants Jack to know how happy she is to have him as her big brother. Holly is asking for your opinion. Should she give him the letter? And, if so, why?..
